Congrats on taking over Iorio, I would like to thank your entire staff for giving my son a great hockey foundation. NEH provided exactly what I feel all young hockey players should have,a good skills set and positive reinforcement. That's what has propelled my son to play prep hockey. If it weren't for people in your organization, especially Bob Blackman and Rob Reilly, my son wouldn't be where he is today. I thank you all for that and would recommend RB Hockey to anyone!

Hi Rob,
Timmy had his first night of goalie skills last night. I thought he did great, and he really fought through some pain/discomfort (he is prone to joint pain cause of the Crohn's Disease, and also...wearing all those pads will take some getting used to). I just want you to know how wonderful ALL the coaches were last night. They were so GREAT with the kids (and the adults). Answering all our questions, and giving us tips...etc. Timmy said they were what got him through some of his pain, and helped him stay on the ice. Just wanted to let you know.
Hope all is well,
Kouri |

Rob,
Wishing you and your family a merry Christmas and a happy new year. My son enjoyed the camp thanks again, he made KP varsity one of two freshman to make the team. They are decent, hope the kids are well take care.

Hey John,
Thanks for the well wishes. Just wanted to let you know he had a great tryout and made the high school varsity team. He has learned so much from you these past few years and it has paid off for him. Not bad for an 8th grader. See you on Saturday,
With appreciation,

Rob,
We have nothing but good things to say about your program. Will did very well by the time he spent in your camps, with your instructors. He was ranked in the top 10% of goalies in MA during his senior year, made the Sun Chronicle all-star team as "the backbone of the team", was his team's MVP and North Attleboro made it's first hockey state tournament appearance.
Keep up the good work!

Hi Rob,
I know I said that my son loved the summer and I want to say that it was in large part to the coaches! They were so motivating and nurturing with all the kids. My husband and I were very impressed by all of them!
Thanks again for your help. You have some great programs!

Cathy,
I would like to express my gratitude towards the entire Barletta staff. We were very pleased with the game situation camp. Great coach to skater ratio, great skills, great organization. Lefty had a lot of fun and learned a great deal. We will definitely look to do other camps or skills with coach Barletta in the future.
Thank you

Hi Rob,
Hope all is well. Erica is supposed to start hockey this week. I am hoping we can get her on the ice this week so we can see what she has learned this year at RB!! Again she had an amazing time and LOVED it!!! You are the best!!
Thanks,

Rob, thank you for helping Patrick out today with his life threatening finger injury.
I had been meaning to send you a note anyway to also thank you for sponsoring Coach Richard’s summer 2003 Walpole Express squad. I think the team represented the Walpole Express name well in the tournaments. Patrick enjoyed every minute of them.
Patrick, Erin and Kelly are all enjoying Camp this week.
Thanks,

Hi Rob,
I wanted to send you a quick note and let you know how much my son, Matt enjoyed camp last week. He came home every day, sweaty, tired and excited to go back the next day. I stayed to watch some of it during the week and I was very impressed with how well run your program is, how good and interactive your instructors are and how you make learning and skill development fun for the kids. Matt has already asked if he can do the full day camp next year and wants me to sign him up for skills sessions during the upcoming season (which I will).
We start our practices here in Franklin and he's very fired up to start the season in very large part to the session he had with Chris and the camp last week. Thanks!

My son Christian 6, attended camp 8/12-8/17. I cant say enough about how well things were run and how much my son enjoyed it. Even with a large group, there was always time for one on one instruction and fun. He hasn't stopped smiling. We look forward to attending many more camps in the future.

Hi Rob,
Mark and I wanted to thank you so much for the opportunity you gave Gina this summer. Having her attend two weeks of camp has truly had such positive effects both on her self esteem and confidence as a hockey player. Gina continues to tell stories of her experience and, as she does, her smile and enthusiasm says it all. On a daily basis I hear her say things like...'Rob said', one of the counselors told me, 'you know what I learned at camp'...and it goes on and on. She is still catching up on her sleep!
Without your help we would have never been able to give Gina this experience and it is one that she will never forget. I've said it before, but your commitment to the kids and the sport of hockey is indescribable. I am continuously in awe of your energy and expertise that you share with the girls. My hope is that Gina can give back what you have given her through her continued commitment and hard work, both on and off the ice.
Again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you have done for our Gina.
I hope you can enjoy some 'down time' before the summer is over.
Take care,
Kathy and Mark |

Rob I want to thank you for having Maegan at your camp for the last 2 weeks and you and your wife for taking care of her for the weekend. I know she had a great time from how she has talked about what she did on the ice and off the ice and that she loved having women as on ice coaches. Please thank each of the coaches for me for spending time with Maegan helping her to become a more confident girl and a good team mate. Thanks for all the help and support.

Mr. Lopes,
Last night my son (Tony Cerce) attended your goalie skills during the 7:00 PM a time. We attended the same skills last year at this time. Although he enjoyed last year, I wanted to let you know how much better we thought last night was. He really enjoyed the energy and humor that you guys brought to the ice and I was impressed by the individual attention that your provided them.
Thanks,

Dear Rob,
Kaitlyn has so enjoyed your camps these past three summers, along with your weekly skills clinics on Rt. 146. I believe Danielle, who is a very experienced player, would enjoy your various camps and especially, stick handling and shooting camp.
With mixed emotions, Kaitlyn's Varsity Hockey playing is coming to an end, either tomorrow or Tuesday, but she has a lot to look forward to in her pre-Veterinary Medicine program at Purdue beginning in August.
Thanks so much to you and your team for being a part of Kaitlyn's development these past few years. She has fond memories of your camps and coaches!
Sincerely,
Lynne |

Rob,
10 years ago our daughter , Natasha, was new to hockey. I am from South Florida, my wife is from Southern California, and we knew nothing about hockey. Natasha was totally ignored in our local town hockey program. We brought Natasha to your Sunday clinic at the canton Sportsplex in Walpole. You took the time to work with her, and make her believe she could be a good player. She attended those clinics religously for the next 4 years. Now she is a junior in high school. She just got back from the Czech Republic playing for the US National U18 team in the World Championships, winning a silver medal. She was the only 16 year old defensman to make the team. She also recently committed to Harvard for hockey.
I know you are frequently hearing from complaining parents, problems with schedules, etc. I wanted to let you know you made a big difference for our daughter. She never would have made it as far as she has in hockey without your taking the time to work with a 6 year old.

I can say with all certainty, having spent nearly 30 years in amateur hockey, Rob is far and away the best skating coach I've seen, without exception. I know I can say that because I brought a family friend to him, which is over 3 hours drive. But he needed the help as an aspiring professional official, skating is critical. In order to the be best official, you have to be one of the best skaters. I personally watched the lessons and Rob's ability to breakdown each element of his skating was remarkable to me.
Just recently, the Director of the National Officiating Program reached out to Rob to get one of their top prospects with him for a few days; Rob is exceptional. As for the rest of the camp, you can just how see how all of the kids respond to him.
Rob and his wife Chrissy are amazing people.... I assure you, it will be tremendous experience for your kids.

I don't know what you did to that girl at camp this summer...but I am SO pleased with how much she improved! You completely changed her skating style, and she is such a better skater! And, has way more confidence. ALL 3 of my kids have shown tremendous improvement since last season...thank you thank you thank you. Well done!

Hi Rob,
I was the "newbie" at skills this morning...I went on Wednesday for the first time. It's hard for me to be at the bottom of the ladders skills wise, but skating with those better than I aspires me to move up! I am my own worst critic when it comes to judging myself and one of my biggest fears is being out of my league skill wise and holding folks up. Hopefully that is not the case....I've come a long way in 7/8 months believe it or not and I am hooked therefore determined to get better. So thanks again for this morning and for offering this [women's] session!

Hey Rob,
I hope all is well! I just wanted to tell you that Erica started hockey this week and the president of the league said to me..."I hope you video taped her from her first practice last season and again tonight!" I said "no,why?" and he said "I didn't even recognize her on the ice...she is a completely different player!"....I said that was because of you and your camp!I can't thank you enough...we are proud of her improvement but more happy about her confidence in herself. She smiles the whole time and is positive about how she played! Just wanted to drop a little note to say Thanks again!
She has already said she can't wait to come back...She has told all her hockey friends to go too!!I have quite a few parents asking..so I gave out the flyer to them all! I hope it works out! Have a great day!
And thanks again!

She had a great time at camp, made a few friends and told me she learned a lot. She's already talking about next year's camps, so you'll probably be hearing from us next summer. Thank you and the other coaches for making it a positive experience for her.

Hi Rob,
The camp was a huge success for Andrew. He enjoyed working with all the coaches and getting him back on the ice was important - even Lyn (mom) saw some good improvement in his agility and shot over the course of the week. I was really pleased and impressed with his work ethic, as he spent the evenings after camp out on the driveway with his inlines working on what he had just learned.
Like our NEH experience, the camp was a testament to the professionalism of your organization. We are looking forward to another great year with NEH and Andrew is excited to be on Coach Harthan's team again.
I hope you enjoy the remainder of the summer with your family, we look forward to seeing you 'round the rink.
Best regards,

My daughter has been to RB camps this summer and last, and has enjoyed herself immensely and improved her game.

Hi Rob and Rob,
Hopefully Owen has thanked you both for the awesome experience he had at the camp and Chowder Cup. He absolutely loved it; the hockey of course, but also the kids, the dorm living, 4th of July at the Barlettas, he raved about everything. Thanks to both of you and the coaches for all of the teaching, support, etc. He has never come home from anything so enthusiastic, and still laughing about all his stories. Even the haircut.
It was an eye opener for him, and me too, to see how good the players and teams were at the tournament.
I hope you both get some time to relax and spend with friends and family in between the summer and fall programs.

Lou & Mark,
Thanks for giving Miles the opportunity to participate in the 2011 Chowder Cup. He had a great time this week! The Walpole 95 Black team performed well but fell short of their goal. We have no regrets though.
The school visits gave Miles the opportunity to see what is out there for those who prepare themselves adequately. He also liked the mini-camp. He even received a request for contact from a prep school.
Skating with 95s will help prepare him for U16A tryouts next month in Anchorage. (he'll be competing against 95s for a d-man spot)

Let me say that Stu is having the time of his life. In the last month I may have had five or six one or two word texts from him.. the last 48 hours I have had alot of actually sentences. from, "Goalie coach has been complimentary of things, but has pointed out something with my hands, awesome stuff.. to the intensiity is good, and i know I can hang with these guys."
So thank you for providing an awesome experience for him.. I know he will want to do it again should he be invited back.

Thanks to all of you for bringing your terrific camp to NJ this past week. My son, Edward McCarthy (2002 Squirt/NJ Rockets), loved it. The coaches were great -- special thanks to Coach Dave for doing such a good job with the younger kids. Edward thought they challenged him and worked him hard but made it lots of fun at the same time. He also really liked that it was ALL hockey (and hockey-related dryland), unlike most other camps. From what we could tell, there were lots of smiling faces on the ice so all the kids had a great time.
We hope you'll be back in NJ again next year. Let us know and we'll be there.
Thanks again. Happy 4th!

Dylan LOVED the camp! I wished we could have done all 3 days, but I was so glad that we were able to get him in for the two. He is new to playing hockey and is loving it! CONTEST WINNER (Half Off a Summer Camp & $50 Pure Hockey
Gift Card)
Well, firstly I doubt you even remember me. But to me RBhockey
was the one and only choice because it had just everything,
it was a lifelong dream to play hockey in another country.
And when I got my flights from London and landed in Boston
I knew it was right. I was so nervous at first, but Rob and
all the crew (believe me, theirs a lot of them) made it home,.
And it still is to me, I still to this day think of Massachusetts
with the most purest and warmest memories (almost a year and
a half on). Their was a standard for everyone and I never
thought that id blend in so well with the guys, players from
all different states coming together in a beautiful state,
in fantastic accommodation, playing endless amounts of hockey
in the most eye-opening rink. Is their anything better?
Now onto the aesthetics of the camp, well the coaching is
WORLD class, Dave Cunniff was our mentor and that’s
a AHL and maybe someday NHL coach, his knowledge of every
aspect of every play is outstanding and even his midafternoon
Q and A’s teach hockey in a depth id never experienced.
Rob himself is a fun, warm, friendly guy who you feel he personally
cares for each and every student, and maybe this is why the
camp is nothing short of a huge success. As the week went
on the camp ticked every box, theirs was a endless supply
of ice on both pads for all your team training and individual
practices. A hockey shop with the latest and greatest equipment.
And even a trip to Connecticut to a amazing six flags theme
park in midweek when the skate blisters start to come through
and it just relief’s the pressure of the week perfectly.
The staff alike my fellow campers where friendly and easy
to get along with. The quality of hockey was outstanding,
the coaching was world class, the accommodation was beautiful
like the weather and, most importantly. It gave me a love
and passion for the game that id never had, that week made
me a better player single-handedly then the years of season
I’ve been through in Britain. And ill never be able
to thank RBhockey enough.
Yours truly,

CONTEST RUNNER-UP ($200 Off a Summer Camp & $50 Pure Hockey
Gift Card)
I attended RB Hockey School last summer for the first time
mainly to increase my chances on making the Catholic Memorial
Middle School hockey team. My parents and I browsed through
many other camps such as Pro Ambitions and O’Sullivan
Hockey before we heard about RB Hockey School. Even though
I was mainly on a search to become a better hockey player
by intense repetitions, which all the camps offered, RB Hockey
School was something different. First, it was an overnight
camp, and that was all the better because I was able to get
away from my parents, and second it was more than just a hockey
camp. RB Hockey School was a fun way to get better at hockey,
involving friends and various other activities. The fun just
didn’t stop inside the rink. There was five and a half
hours of ice time a day, which provided exactly what I was
looking for in skills time, but there were also fun activities
after ice time like a trip to Six Flags and the availability
to get ice creams, and go to movies after dinner. The camp
was also very inviting. It was more personal than most hockey
camps, and the coaches really got to know you. I mean really.
Mr. Barletta would invite the whole camp of boys staying overnight
in the dorms to his house for a game of kan jam and a dip
in a ninety-three degree pool. The coaches did not only want
to know you off the ice, they also wanted to know you on the
ice and focus on what you need to work on. Unlike most hockey
camps where there are so many kids there just aren’t
enough coaches to pay attention to everyone. RB Hockey School
also gave you the ability to be independent and order your
own dinner and play WII or watch TV or a movie with a friend
without the constant, “Five more minutes!” usually
said by your mother. You also learn a great deal of responsibility
as you have your own key card to your room and your responsible
to air out your own equipment or get your skates sharpened.
But the best thing about RB Hockey School without a doubt
would be the internationality. Students from Russia, Germany,
and Sweden attended while I was at the camp and it is a great
experience. For some of them it is their first time being
in the United States and they are just about as excited as
you are to meet them. When you are leaving friendship, are
not lost with the kids from different countries or even with
kids in the U.S. Especially thanks to Facebook, all of us
can keep in touch and schedule the weeks we will be going
back next year. RB Hockey School was a great experience and
I recommend it to anybody and everybody looking to improve
and I cannot wait to go back next year.

My name is Catherine Stampfli, I’m a goalie for NEH
and this summer will be my third year going to RB Hockey Camp.
I love camp because the coaches are really nice and funny
and I learn a lot from them. The goalie coaches teach me so
much but I have a lot of fun at the same time. They push me
really hard and I get better each week.
The kids who go to the camp are great. I never feel left
out and I’m always around kids that I have something
in common with: hockey. I like the trip to Six Flags too.
When I go to Six Flags, I can hang out with my hockey friends
and have a great time. I enjoy going back to camp and seeing
my camp friends from the years before and making new ones,
too. I also like seeing the coaches that come back after not
seeing them all year. I can’t wait to go back to camp
this summer.

I'm writing this for my 6 year old...Brady began playing hockey
last spring and has been exposed to several different programs
that offer 3v3 or skills. He has become an avid hockey player
and fan and has learned so many valuable lessons from coaches
who care at RB Hockey. I can honestly say that his exposure
to such positive influences, honest coaching and genuine attention
will be what pushes him to make hockey a life long sport.
I'm not sure I can say that about any other program he has
been exposed to. RB Hockey has made such an influence and
regardless if he wins the contest or not, all the coaches
at RB should be recognized and thanked. We look forward to
the coming months!

Memorable and fun for all, RB Hockey’s Summer Camp is
a great experience for kids, young and old. Besides the trip
to Six Flags and the fun on- and off- ice activities, my favorite
part was the friends I got to meet. When I came to camp the
first day, I didn’t know many people. The friends I
met at camp would become my teammates a few weeks later on
my Sharks Squirt team.
Helpful and patient, another reason that I like RB Hockey
camp is the coaches. I remember and use the skills that I
learned from them in games-especially the wrist shot! They
always show me how to do it, not just tell me. They always
encourage me to keep learning and enjoying the sport of hockey.
That is why RB Hockey Summer Camp is so great and I can’t
wait to go back next year!

I like going to Rob Barletta Summer Camps for many reasons.
I really love going to Six Flags. I also like learning new
things about hockey. I really like that it is making me a
better hockey player. Last year, when I met Ericka Lawler,
that was the most exciting thing in the world. I really like
doing all the skills at the camp like the obstacle course
at the end of the week. I love the coaching from Rob and Dennis
- they are great in helping me be agressive and hustling to
the puck!
Rob teaches me how to be more aggressive. He makes me skate
faster to to hustle to the puck. I like how we work hard on
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and then Wednesday to
go to Six Flags. I have so much fun there. These are reasons
I love Rob Barletta Hockey Camps and every year I look forward
to learning more and more about hockey. I look forward to
going to Six Flags this summer. I also look forward to learning
new skills and drills. This helps me get better at Hockey!
This is why I would like to win 1/2 off a camp, so I can attend
two camps this summer. BTW - this is Tessa, Sunscreen! I have
already gotten many goals and assists this season. I ahve
been doing so great! :)

My name is Charlie Ricard and I am 15 years old and I am from
Pennsylvania. I have been going to RB hockey camp for the
past 2 years. At RB I learned all about the game of hockey
as well as how to act on and off the ice. I also had TONS
of fun.
The first reason I like RB Hockey so much is that they really
teach you the correct way to do certain things in hockey. They
drill it into you until you get it right. I went to camp for
4 straight weeks last year and I could barely hold all the
information. I did and it helped me out in the long run. I
had to put in my own hard work, but with the help of the coaches
at RB hockey I went from playing Bantam B hockey to Midget
U16AAA for the Hershey Jr. Bears.
The coaches didn't just teach me about hockey but also about
how to act on and off the ice. Rob always gave us one speech
that really made me more mature. He always would say “There
are so many kids out there and if your in tryouts and it comes
down to the last spot and your dead even with the other person
we look at the person's character.” I remember this
all the time when I think I am going to do something dumb.
This speech isnt just for hockey it is for the real life,
and it sure has helped me.
I am all tired at the end of the day and it's good to have
rest. However, some of the guys bring XBOX 360's, TVs and
other games. We all hang out in each others rooms. It is so
much fun at night. We order pizza and just chill. Last year
one kid brought in a 30 inch plasma TV and we had 16 people
playing in a NHL 10 tournament. (of course I won). That wasn't
as half as fun as Six Flags. Its good to have a day off in
the middle of the week and..... then back to hockey. Then
the next evening we go to Rob's house to swim in the pool
and eat amazing food grilled by Dennis.
Hockey, life lessons, pizza, Six Flags, and great grilling.
What more can you ask for from a hockey camp? Nothing, because
the RB Hockey camp is a perfect way to have fun and learn
about hockey at the same time. I guess you can sum up how
much I love RB Hockey based on one fact. Last year, during
my third week, I called my mom and begged to stay just one
more week. Finally, I told her I would give up Christmas if
I could stay. You guessed it........she caved.
I am enrolled in one week of RB hockey camp for 2011. This
year my mom told me if my essay is chosen and I get ½
off another camp she will let me go for a 2nd week. So.....please,
make this happen for me.

Samantha went to RB camp summer of 2009. It was a VERY far
drive for us coming from the North Shore, but she REALLY wanted
to go to camp here. So, we gave it a try. Even fighting through
Patriot's preseason traffic, taking me three hours to get
her....it was a worthwhile experience. I can't even begin
to tell you, as a young female player, how valuable it was
for Sam to experience coaching, and also a bond...with Ashley,
a Junior, at the time, defenseman for the Harvard girls team.
Sam is also a defenseman, not hard to imagine the joy and
delight it was to have Ashley as a mentor/coach. The whole
ride (very long ride!) home, it was Ashley this, Ashley that.....Ashley,
could probably could have told her to clean the bathroom with
a toothbrush and she would have gladly done it! I can never
thank you enough for hiring Ashley. What a unique and awesome
experience for a young girl to experience coaching from an
'idol'. Hockey still is a 'boys' sport for the most part....and
having my daughter learn directly from Ashley is every little
(hockey playing) girl's dream come true.

Hi Rob,
Just wanted to thank you for a great camp. Rob learned a whole lot this week. He is crossing over now (both legs), keeping his stick in front of him, on the ice, chin up and is starting to learn how to shoot the right way. He wasn't doing those things before and you can see an excitement about it in his face. He looks like a different skater than he did 3 days ago. Its great to watch such a huge improvement in such a short time.
But most of all, he had a blast. The coaches were so good to him. He keeps talking about how much fun he had and how much he liked all the coaches.
Thanks for everything. Hope to see you soon.

Rob,
Just wanted to tell you that your camp this week was all I heard about at the dinner table when I got home from work. The boys LOVED it! Thanks for having them.

Rob,
Great camp this week.
Hats off to you and the coaches, as the kids had a great week and the skills were awesome!
Enjoy the rest of the school break and thanks!

Hey Rob:
Thanks for the heads-up, Eric will DEFINITELY be enrolling in your program again this year. He really learned a lot last year and it showed out on the ice. I have been talking your program up to the other dads and there is a lot of interest - I will forward this email along to them. We will also be enrolling in the summer camp again!
Thanks,
Keith |

Hey Rob,
Thanks again for an awesome camp. Cody learned a lot and
definitely improved with each session. It was great to see
you and Jake too!
We were wondering if you have any suggestions for Cody next
year. As long as he has the opportunity to play in games,
he’s happy. (He particularly enjoys being goalie which
is incredibly stressful for me!)
Thanks for your help,
Kathy |
|

Thanks so much! So far mini camp
has been a great experience. John is really just getting into
hockey and I think he has progressed a lot in just two sessions.
We'll certainly be back! Hopefully with both boys this time.

Hey coach! I just wanted to let
you know I made the final roster at Worcester State and wanted
to thank you for your help along the way. Even though I never
played for Walpole, you convinced my parents to let me pursue
this beyond high school. Your camps were awesome and helped
me a ton. I appreciate everything you did for me, so thank
you! I'll try to come over to Walpole to visit sometime soon.
Keep in touch! Say hey to Chrissy and the kids for me (I'm
not sure they remember me, but I remember them!) See ya!

Hey Rob & Rob,
I just wanted to email and let you know that I am officially
a D1 college hockey player! It’s a fourth goalie position,
but nonetheless and amazing and gratifying experience so far.
A couple of weeks ago the coach asked me to be a part of the
team since they only had three goalie. I have been working
out with the guys and skating with them for the past week.
I just wanted to wait until the news was completely official
and on our website.
I also want to thank both of you for employing me this summer.
I know I have been bad about staying in touch, and should
have emailed you both earlier than this. I had an amazing
experience this summer working for RB hockey. Each day was
a new task and it pushed me to think outside the box and adapt
to new situations. I can’t thank you guys enough for
how much you have done for me. You pushed me to be more experienced,
harder working, and overall a better person.
I hope everyone is doing well and the upcoming season is
good one. Make sure you say hello to your families for me.
Jake Whiting |

Coach Rob,
Skating was great. It was awesome to get back onto the ice,
with familiar faces. Thank you so much for giving me this
opportunity. The RB hockey family is amazing, and words can
not even express my gratitude towards your support throughout
the years. How have you been? I missed seeing you this summer.
Hopefully I can make the trip up to come visit you soon.
As you probably are aware, I am playing at Loomis Chaffee
School in Windsor, CT. I love it here. The academics are hard
but it is really a wonderful experience. It is sometimes hard
to put the academics before my love of sports, but as you
know, I am no slacker. Thank you for everything.
Your bud,
Warren |

Kelly and I were watching videos
of our kids playing hockey over the last few years, and we're
SO happy with how they are improving. We love your program...thanks
for helping our kids love hockey, and thanks for teaching
them the skills to be better players.

Hi Rob,
It has been a long time and I hope all is well. I felt it
was important to update you on Sean and wanted to share some
great news with you because NEH and your camps contributed
in allowing Sean to have 4 years of great high school hockey
and now accomplishing something he never thought was possible.
Sean is attending UNH and made the club hockey team yesterday.
He admires Rob Reilly and you and it is a reflection of the
good training he had.
Thanks
Eda |

Rob,
Hope you are well and that things have eased off since your
hectic summer. The boys arrived back in Stockholm on the 14th
and went straight from the airport to their first team practice.
Since then it has been 6 days of hockey per week. We have
a new Russian trainer who is absolutely great and focuses
a lot on technique. Here in Sweden they call these years the
“golden years” were the kids really absorb and
learn what will stay with them for most of their hockey life’s.
The boys and the parents had a blast. They enjoyed the camp
and Boston and we will be coming back next year. Patrick and
the boys all want to board for the 2 weeks. Jesper little
brother Philip wants to do the camp too.
Anyway thanks for setting it up and I will be in touch about
possibly Easter and next summer.
Take care,
Clas |

Hi Rob and Rob. As a quick aside,
my son Sam finished your total skills camp on 8/21 and had
an absolute blast, great job.

Thanks for a great week at camp.
Kevin really enjoyed it and felt he got some good pointers.
Hope to come back again next year.

Dear Rob,
I just wanted to write to tell you what a great time Ronelle
and Renee had at camp this week. What a great experience!
They were sore everyday, but they loved that they worked hard.
Renee improved in everything in just one week, and I know
she'll remember everything that she was taught. They both
want to come back next year, and Renee wants to board. Ronelle
got such wonderful goalie instruction from Pat, he is really
great. Renee also loved the Six Flags trip and made a lot
of friends. I was just amazed when I got a chance to watch
how organized it was, and the amount of instructors there
were , who were so helpful. It really was a great experience
for both of them. Many thanks.

Rob,
My son, Robbie, returned home this week from attending your
stick handling and shooting clinic. Normallly Robbie is very
closed mouthed about his activities with the usual yes, no,
I don't remember answers. Each night, he shared everything
about your camp and his desire not only to go back next summer,
but to also stay overnight, which is something he has stayed
away from up to now. I was fortunate enough to catch some
of the activities at camp at the end of the day and all of
Friday morning. It is certainly evident that your staff is
not only extremely skilled at the game of hockey, but truly
in touch with what makes kids tick and how to get the best
effort from them in a safe environment. Thank you for providing
such a terrific opportunity for Robbie and the others during
this week. We look forward to attending some winter skills
on Tuesday evenings again this year.

Hi! I wanted to let you know
that Danielle had an amazing time at camp this week. Erica
was a great role model and coach. She also loved all the extra
things you did at night. She still can't believe you even
did fireworks. She mentioned that you took allot of pictures.
Is there a way we can view and purchase some of them?
Thanks

Hi Rob,
I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful experience
Taisiya had at the camp. The combination of excellent coaching
staff, hard but fun training sessions and off the ice activities
made it even better than she was expecting it to be. She is
already talking about attending the camp next year -- regardless
of the fact that legs hurt (I consider that a good thing).
Best regards,
Dmitry Rykov |

Rob:
I am following up today. As you recall, I am MJ father. First
and foremost his camp experience was a wonderful experience.
I was looking for a few things:
Fun for my son, Pretty intense hockey experience & Safe
environment
Quickly addressing each. My son had a great time. He had
a lot of fun. So much I rarely heard from him during the week.
(However, if had not gone swimming with his cell phone, I
might have heard more.) It sounded from my discussions with
you on the phone, talking to his coach from the week, and
from discussions with MJ the hockey experience was excellent.
Lots of ice time, lots of intensity and lost of learning.
Lastly from what I could gather, it was a very safe environment
for the kids. They did not wander off by themselves and you
and your people kept an eye on them at all times. So again
thank you very much.
Thank you again
Sam Bronsky |

Rob,
40 minutes after the session ended today your staff was still
on the ice working with the skaters. Just amazing! My daughter
had a wonderful first day.
Thank you!!

Rob, Cathy, and staff,
Thanks so much for a great week at sports camp last week.
All 3 Vaughan boys (Joey, Tommy, and Charlie) had a really
great time. Please let Mike and Jake and all the other coaches
know that they did a fabulous job.
Thanks again,
Bridget and Phil Vaughan |

Hello Coach Rob!
It sure is good to have Charlie home. Although I must admit
I am so happy he had such a great time at your camp. The 7
hour ride home was uneventful and included Charlie talking
about everything he learned at camp, funny stories and most
of all what a great all around guy you are.
I realize we pay for him to attend your camp. I realize it
is part of your job to teach him about hockey. I realize you
want repeat business. Hey, the world is about making money.....I
get that. You went over and above what you needed to do. Perhaps
it wasn't big glamorous stuff, but it was stuff that made
a difference in my son's life. He had such a wonderful time
at your house the weekend you let him stay there. According
to Charlie "your steak tips are the best in the world,
your wife is really nice and your kids are funny". Sure,
he talked about the hockey (a lot) but the smiles were all
about the little things that made the month so great.
He rambled on about all the great guys he met, including
Merrick, Jack, Matt, Dave, Bubba .... the list goes on. He
noticed the caliber of player you are looking for.....skillwise
and characterwise. He said the counselors treated him awesome.
Please let them all know how much I appreciate that.
He went on to say things like:
"Mom, you know who really is an awesome coach?.....Mike
Tenney. Lancaster should've kept him like you said".
"Coach Kumpel is so good. He really explains things until
you get it. I was with him most of the time which was great."
"Oh my god Mom, Rob is so funny........". (That
one started alot of stories!!)
Anyway Rob, I could ramble on forever. Basically, I just
wanted to say thank you to you (and please thank Chrissy as
well) for giving so much of your time, your heart and your
knowledge to my kid this summer. I realize Charlie isn't a
superstar, but he is a really well-rounded, hard working kid
and mainly I am glad you are the type guy to reinforce those
qualities.
See you at the end of August. Until then, take care and I
hope your thumb is feeling better.
Sincerely,
Nancy (aka Charlie's Mom)
PS, please extend a big THANK YOU to Coach Kumpel and Coach
Dennis as well. Charlie told me he learned alot from both
of them. |
|

Hi Rob & Chrissy,
I just wanted to take the time out to thank you for such
a great week. Freddy had a blast, he loves coming to you guys!
He came home with a big smile on his face and had nothing
but great things to say! By the sounds of things, it was a
lot of fun! Have a great rest of the summer, let us know when
you will be in Florida, we owe you a dinner.

Hey Rob -
Thanks for having Patrick at your house for the pool party
and cookout. It's very nice of you and Chrissy to open up
your house for these kids. He had a blast, even though they
lost their last 2 games. Best part for me-he came home w/a
whiffle! Yah!! I was on him for months to get it cut, but
he didn't want to mess w/the "flo"!! I gotta say
though, he walked right up to me after the last game and I
had no idea who he was. It took me about 2 mins to figure
it out!!
He had an awesome experience at both the Hub Cup and Chowder
Cup. Thanks for giving him the oppurtunity to play in these.
I had told Rob R after the Hub Cup that I hadn't seen him
play so good in a very, very long time. I think he has a tendency
to get lazy, but when he's playing w/better kids, he knows
that he has to step it up, and he certainly did. Some of his
old teammates from when he played for the Washington Little
Caps (which is now Team Maryland 95) were up playing this
past week, so he was psyched to be able to see them.
Once again-thanks so much. I don't know if you're playing
in the golf tournament today. I'm going down to pick up the
boys, so hopefully I see Rob so that I can thank him also.
Take care-tell Chrissy I said hi! See you in 2 weeks for Shannon's
camp. She is beyond psyched!!

Coach Rob,
I wanted to thank you personally for the way my son was DJ
treated at your camp. He had a great time and it was a great
learning experience for him. He took away a lot that he can
use to build on to get to the next level. The camp was everything
that Dennis told us it would be and then some. Your counselors
took a lot of time to help my son during the camp and in the
games and that helped his confidence tremendously. Since we
are down in NJ, I dont think that we will be able to make
any more weeks of camp this summer but I am sure that DJ will
be back next year.
I will keep an eye on your website and if you get down yourself
to NJ to run anymore clinics DJ will be there. Thanks for
everything !! Enjoy the rest of your summer.

Hi Rob,
Thank you so much for everything you did for the boys this
past week. It was by far the best camp they ever participated
in. All 3 of them are already planning on coming back next
year!
Brett was drawing & explaining the plays to us, he is
still talking about what he learned & the friends he made.
He really liked Coach Mark too.
We are heading back up with our oldest son on the 21st, we
couldn't swing having him do the camp but we will definitely
plan on having him attend next year as well. He just signed
a Jr B contract with the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Junior Knights
& will be playing for Anthony DiPalma & Ace Rogue.
Thanks again,
Kim & Ray Welsh |

Hi Rob,
Owen was thrilled to start the skills session again. He came
home last night wishing that the season was starting now.
He will be at the skills sessions every week. See you next
week.

Rob,
Hope all is well. I know you hear this all the time...but
thank you. Over just the past few weeks, you and your team
had such a positive effect on Nathan. He absolutely LOVES
hockey and is thrilled with your sessions. I see the smile
under his helmet while he is on the ice the entire time and
know that he is having so much fun and getting so much out
of it. So, thank you. We very much appreciate it.

Hi Rob,
I wanted to let you know Coach Dennis ran an outstanding
practice yesterday. I learned a lot. He breaks down the tasks
and communicates his knowledge very clearly. He was great
about staying on top of us for things we needed corrections
with (like me with the straight legs). Everyone was really
happy with him. Thought you would want to know. Thanks.

Jameson LOVED the Monday learn-to-play
session and so did I. You are all so wonderful with the kids
- you somehow manage to teach them the skills while maintaining
the fun and joy of skating. We'd love to come back for more
Monday sessions and continue during the summer (in whatever
class you think is best).
Thanks

you for all the help you gave me through my years with hockey.
Thank you again

Hey Rob, we have not officially
met, but my boys have come 3 or 4 times now...just wanted
to let you know (you probably hear it all the time) that they
are having a blast....and that you seem to run a really fun/productive
program. Although my husband grew up playing hockey, we are
new to the scene as parents. Its important to us that they
have fun...as we say before they get on the ice "do good
listening, try hard and have fun". Your program is doing
the trick, so thanks!
Oh, and by the way, the coach that hung out with Colten tonight
playing with the puck...Colten was so excited and proud that
he got to "hang" with him...I don't know his name,
but Thanks!! The extra effort to engage is what counts for
me!

Hi Rob, thanks very much for
the special attention Ryan got during the Feb camp. He enjoyed
it and learned from it. Your coaching staff showed a special
attention to details that he is not getting now. He is looking
forward to playing in your league.

Hi Rob,
Great session last night, the only bad thing about your camp
is Brady thinks his mite team is Boring! He has so much fun
with the other kids and always talks about the other coaches
(not just you). I was just wondering if you are starting anything
up at the end of this month or in april, Brady's mite league
is ending this week and I would like to keep him skating.
Thanks Rob, your the best

Hi Rob,
Both my boys had been going on Tuesday nights when the schedule
has allowed. I do want to say you have one hell of a program.
My oldest son Tyler ( 12 a 97 ) is a last year peewee but
his first year playing hockey has worked with I beleive Rob
Reilly a couple of times off to the side. I would like to
say thanks for that. Your skills are strong and fun the boys
look foward to going every time we can. I'm sure we will be
back for more.
Thanks Again,
Todd Pietrzyk |

Hello,
I wanted to thank both of you for the fantastic experience
my son, Shane, had at your skills mini-camp this past week
in Walpole. It was great for a 6 year old who gets a little
nervous, he got very comfortable quickly. The teaching was
top notch and I could see him today in his game with more
confidence to carry the puck more. He learned alot while having
fun, the perfect combination. As a matter of fact, he was
disappointed Thursday that there wasn't another day. Thanks
again for making Shane's week and helping him. This was a
great experience.

Jimmy over the years.
Thanks again

Hi Rob and Rob
First and foremost I would like to thank you and your organization
for all you have done in helping with the deveolpment of George's
hockey skills. He is presently on Dedham's JV team with the
hope he makes varsity next year. Again, thank you very much
for everything. |

Thanks for an awesome preseason camp! The drills and skating
were great and I know I'm going into the season in great shape.
I really appreciate all of your help. Hope you had a great
Thanksgiving!!!

Hi Rob,
I can’t thank you enough for creating such an outstanding
learn to play hockey program. My 6 year old son has learned
more in a few sessions with your team than he did in 2 years
of learn to skate programs. He is skating, learning hockey
skills, moves and he can’t wait ‘till Thursdays
for Hockey (his “best day of the week”). The staff
is amazing and we are so impressed with the staff to student
ratio. You make learning fun! Thank you!

Hi there, My name is Bobbie-jo
and i attend your tuesday night skills session. I just wanted
to thank you for all your hard work and dedication. I wanted
to point out how even with the ice filled with almost 50 plus
skaters, you find the time to give individual help to your
skaters, that is true dedication. There was also another guy
who stopped and tookd time out to help me with my shooting
individually. In closing i just wanted to say, i drive from
western mass (1/1/2 hours each way, to your hockey clinic
once a week because it is more than worth it! Again, thank
you for your time and effort in making the experience so fullfilling
and worthwhile!

hi there , this is a bit overdue
but i would like to thank everyone at rbhockey for giving
me the most amazing summer, the standard was great and WOW
a AHL coach, dave taught me things that are so knowledgable
and obvious and really was a fantastic coach, i knew i had
improved but when i got back to england i started scoring
goals from everywhere on the ice. i left without a slapshot
and i came back with one too ! the accomadation facilities
are top class and exceptional. all the staff are friendly
and make the whole experience worth while especially Rob who
has a amazing way with the kids, a really gifted coach. And
the rink is amazing too!
ive been to 4 camps now, and this was the best by far. ill
always have great memorys of it being just the best way to
spend a summer and i cant wait to potentailly come back as
a on ice helper, well worth the plane flight!!
many thanks and hope to see you soon

It's Dylan Metcalf. I just wanted to say thank you. I dont
really get to tell you how much i appreciate what you do for
me. I really want to thank you. You've been and still are

Hi Rob,
My son Mike participated in the Spring / Summer Semi Private
Lessons on Thursday nights. He liked going every week and
I saw improvement in a lot of areas especially shooting and
fighting for the puck. Do you plan to offer anything like
that in the fall?
Thanks,
Mark |

Hey Rob,
Wanted you to know that Mike was great today. He explained
things well, and chose drills that were right on for where
most of us are at. I'm working on a couple of friends to get
them to come, this'll help. There were a couple of new girls
today and I think they felt welcomed as well.
Peace

Rob,
I hope you enjoyed the rest of your summer. Brenna had a great
time at your girls boarding hockey camp. She couldn't stop
talking about it for weeks afterward. She showed the skits
the girls did at the talent show to everyone.
Thank you,

Dear Rob,
Thank you so much for this summer. The camps were great.
I’ve learned so much and I think I made up for my lost
year. I also had so much fun and made tons of new friends.
The ice time is so valuable especially with the coaching staff
you bring to the table. I’ve learned new systems including
“In at th e red, out at the blue.”
All the counselors were awesome especially Johnny, EA, Mike,
Kevin, Casey, Dave, Dennis……well I’d probably
name them all but you get my point. They made everything that
much better. Thank you to Chrissy for having all 50 of us
over every week for a cookout. Not only have I become a better
hockey player but I think I have become stronger (Thanks to
Dennis’s 200 pushups a day). Also, not only has my performance
on the ice improved but I’ve become a better person.
Everyone I know that’s been at the camp has loved it
also. I’m trying to get some of my friends to come to
the camp next year. I’ve told them all about you and
they can’t wait to sign up. A couple will be doing multiple
weeks.
Thanks to you and the RB Hockey staff this was an incredible
experience. I am applying for high schools this fall so I
couldn’t have come at a better time. I can’t wait
for the season so I can showcase what I’ve learned.
Thanks again,
Spongey
P.S. Chicka Pow Baby! |

I think you know this but I can't
say enough good things about the great experience both jacqueline
and andrew had. I asked you and dennis a month ago to get
jax's shot up a bunch of levels from where it was - what I
saw today with a solid hard snap shot - I am impressed - wrist
shot velocity is up a bunch too. Clearly her mechanics are
better - so despite her wanting "her" money back
she couldn't pay either of us enough for what she got out
of it.
She had a blast staying there and I am certain she is starting
to figure out when she takes things a little too far - with
a little coaching help.
Andrew is easier to see his improvement - and boy did he.
Like I said this am - I shouldn't be amazed based on previous
experience but I still am. Obviously you get the right people
with the right kids. Next year we need to work him into your
program a couple of more weeks
Again great job. See you @ sept 1 for neh

Rob,
I can not thank you and your staff enough. Joe had such a
great time again this year! He is all ready talking about
next year and wanting to get a job the day he turns 14 so

Thank you so much Cathy! That
is more than generous! They are extremely happy, in fact I
already got the call asking if they can be there on Monday
and Tuesday!
Everyone is talking about your camp around here. There are
several families that have contacted me asking what all of
the talk was about it and how they are definitely signing
up next year.
Thanks for making it such a great experience for them.

Rob,
I just want to take this opportunity to say Thank You.
Carly really enjoyed her time at camp. It was her first time
away from home (for longer than an overnight) and you and
your team took good care of her, Thank You.
I was interested in the hockey, my wife was interested in
the socialization and we got both. When we picked her up last
Friday, we asked her if she learned anything, and the first
thing out of her mouth was that "they" corrected
my bad habits. and then she already asked about coming back
next year.
So I guess instead of good-bye, its, see you next summer.
Sincerely,
Ross Strauss |

Hi Rob,
I was going to call you, and I realize you are eating dinner
out and I didn't want to bother you. Just wanted to thank
you for the greatest week of camp. My girls had a blast and
thank you for treating them as part of your family. You did
so many fun things with them (chinese dinner, talent show,
Six Flags, pool party and cookout, etc) on top of the awesome
hockey skills that were taught. You are a magnet to kids and
you deserve all that you have worked so hard for (I truly
mean that).
Great job,
Feeley |

Cathy, my two kids had a great
time last week. You run a great camp. Special thanks to the
dry land instructor who let my 5 year old participate. He
is still talking about it.

Thanks so much to you and Dennis and the rest of your staff.
You always go out of your way to make Maggie feel special.
She was just entertaining her grandma and me with stories
of camp.
Enjoy the rest of your summer & thanks again!

Dear Coach Rob,
I am writing to you for my son Jack Rousselle. He attended
the week of July 5 camp. Jack has said that of all the hockey
camps over the years that he has attended (and it has been
many!!) that he felt he learned the most at Rob Barletta's
hockey school. He was very happy to attend and he made some
great friends. He has said that he would like to come to the
camp again next summer.
Thanks,
Ann Marie Rousselle |

Hi Rob,
I just wanted to thank you for all your suggestions and help
this summer. I’ve been working really hard on the ice
and off the ice so I can hopefully play in college. The individual
skills sessions and the girl’s suburban league this
past spring were awesome. I really think I got a ton out of
them.. Your camps and programs have helped me improve so much
and thank you for everything. I plan on signing up for a fall
skills session too! Thanks again.

Hi Chrissy and Rob,
Our boys Jackson and Matty attended your skills camp last
week. They had a blast. Matty cried all the way home. He told
me: "You just need to understand that those people were
like family. Mom, I am going to miss them so much." It
was so obvious how much they both gained when they played
in their summer league the other night What more can we say
other than we will definitely be back next summer! Thank you
for building their confidence both on and off the ice.
Sincerely,
Dave and Susan Schreiner |

Chrissy, let Rob know Kyle McKenzie
(Former NEH Player) was drafted by the Yankees. We are waiting
to recieve their offer which they say will be equal to 2nd
round $$. He may have a tough decision, pitching for Tulane
University next year of the Yankee minor league team. My nephew
loved the camp (week of 6/30) . He'll be back next year.
All the best,
Mike Mckenzie |

Dear Rob and Chrissy,
The video is super! All 15 Falmouth kids had such a great
time at camp last week. The one comment I've heard over and
over is this comparison to the several other camps they have
attended: they've never worked harder, learned more, or had
more fun than at your camp! My boys wish they could spend
every week on the ice with you and your outstanding coaches
and counselors.
THANK YOU from the group!

And you have a tremendous influence
on the young men with whom you work. They admire you greatly!
We're trying to find a friend that will go up with Philip.
We'll keep you posted.

Dear Rob and Chrissy,
I wanted to thank you for making Charlie's camp experience
awesome. He sent me a text after the first day that said "this
is the best camp ever". So, of course, my mind was put
at ease. We very much appreciate how welcoming your staff
was upon our arrival. We also appreciate the amount of ice
time and the coaching Charlie received while he was there.
He is VERY excited to come to camp again on August 9th!
Rob, if there is anything in particular you think Charlie
needs to work on, please speak with him directly. We are really
"letting go" this year and letting him make decisions
on how hard he works, what he wants to get out of hockey etc.
Adulthood is right around the corner and we have strongly
informed him that dedication and hardwork will open doors.
Again...BIG THANKS to both of you for running such a high
quality camp.
See you soon.

thank you for a great experience for Ben. He loved camp and
his mohawk is actually growing on me... He will definately
be back next year and we will get in touch with you about
the Chowder Cup for our other son, who is a '94. Take Care
and enjoy the rest of your summer.

Hi Rob & Chrissy,
Thanks so much for all the time and energy you put into your
camps. I am a camp director myself and I know all the work
that goes into it. Freddy had the most amazing time. He has
been to a hockey camp every summer since he is 5 years old
and he said this was the best he's been to so far! I am not
just saying that, because that is what he said. He will definitely
be back in some way shape or form. He will be a sophomore
in high school this year and has a very demanding schedule
between the IB program he is in and hockey for this season.
He would really like to go to Prep School for his junior year.
We will see what this year brings. Thanks for everything,
he made so many friends and learned so much. You guys are
the best! Please keep in touch with us and let us know when
you will be down south.

This was David's first time away
from home. The text message he sent me on Tues. night says
it all: "Camp is awesome!"
Thanks for running such a great program.

What have you done to my son's
brain? It is all Hockey, Hockey, Hockey. No seriously Preston
loved hockey camp. He would like to attend the August 9th
Session of camp if there is still space. You have created
a monster.

Mr. Barletta,
This is CJ Meyer, also known as "Dennis' guy",
I know that you are very busy now with your new rink and everything,
but I just wanted to thank you.
In all aspects of the camp I feel was great for me. Going
in knowing no one I met new kids, that at the end of the week
became my friends. On the ice the resources you provided for
me was great, Coach Kumpel, Coach Coughlin, Coach Cuniff were
very very helpful and I feel that I left a better player then
when I arrived. So again thank you so much for everything
in the week I was there and I really hope I can scratch up
enough money for next year.
Sincerely,
CJ Meyer |

Rob,
Thank you so much for the mini chowder cup camp/ tournament.
I learned so much and had a lot of fun. It was my favorite
camp i have gone to in my whole life and I know my roommates
feel the same way. Mr Kumpel was a great instructor and coach
and he made not just me but every player out there better.
The tournament was a great experience. Our team worked really
hard. Even though we didn't get into the quarterfinals, i
believe it was a success. We all got a taste of what hockey
will become for us in the future years. The competition was
great and it will help the whole team in there hockey careers.
I would also like to thank you for making the off ice time
fun. Six Flags was great. (even though i didn't go on any
rides.) Everyone had fun. Also, the night at your house was
very fun. It was so nice of you to do.
I will be back for at least 2 more camps. I've been planning
on going to the stickhandling and shooting camp, the defenseman's
camp, and the game situation camp. Frankie and Danny both
have asked to come to the defenseman camp.
Lastly, I want to thank all the counselors. They were all
really kind and they taught us a lot. They also made the off
ice hours fun. Especially to John, Coughlin and E.A.
Once again thanks so much for the camp. It taught me a lot
and I had a lot of fun in the process.

Hi Rob,
I just wanted to get a letter out and thank you for the great
Mini Chowder Boarding Camp this week. Jake had a tons of fun
as well as some pretty intense ice time. We were impressed
with the level of instruction and dedication to this camp.
I noticed by the end of the week that his skating had greatly
improved!
The boarding facilities were first rate and being so close
to the rink made everything run smooth. The security system
as well a that staff on hand made me feel at ease.
Your personal involvement is what makes your camps so much
fun.
Also send thanks to Mark Kumpel, and Rob Reilly both a class
act!
P.S. what does Jake owe you for the haircut?
