Rob Barletta is in his 14th season as the owner and director of RB Hockey, which he launched with just eight players in 1998 and has since grown into one of New England’s premier hockey training organizations. During that time, he also founded Northeast Elite Hockey, a youth hockey league focused on player development; the Walpole Express, which competes at the Junior A Tier III level in the AJHL and Junior B level in the MJHL (as well as offers girls’ and midget teams); the Cranston Reds, which competes in the MJHL at the Junior B level; and the RB Foundation, a charitable organization providing financial assistance to area families in need. Goaltending Director
Matt Lopes has studied goalie coaching for the past six years under UNH Goalie Coach Rob Day, one of the most successful goalie coaches in the country. Matt played college hockey at Gustavus Adolphus where he was able to make it to the Division 3 National Championship game. Matt also played in the CHL, ECHL and for the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL. Using his playing experience coupled with his teaching experience he has been able to develop specific training techniques through Puckstoppers that can be personalized with any style or approach to goaltending. Matt have personally coached at the Professional level, Junior A & B, Prep Boys and Girls Varsity, Public School levels and worked with multiple Youth Hockey Organizations. See Matt's Full Bio |
