Dan attended Mount Saint Charles Academy in Woonsocket, RI. Dan was a member of two R.I. State Championship teams. His senior year, Dan was a First Team All State selection by the Rhode Island Hockey Coaches Association. Dan's team won the Mount Saint Charles Holiday Face Off and he was named to the All Tournament team. Dan was recipient of the Gil Mayer award as an "Unsung High School Hockey Hero" presented by the Rhode Island Reds Heritage Society. Dan was also recognized by Hockey Night in Boston for the Dedication and Leadership Award. Dan is an honor roll student and will attend Assumption College where he hopes to continue his hockey career.
