As a coach and manager, Dalessio’s experience is extensive. Having served as general manager of the Northern Cyclones Jr. A and B teams, as well as head coach of the Jr. B team, Dalessio was instrumental in helping launch their junior program as they entered the AJHL in 2004-05 and the MJHL in 2005-06.

During his years with the Cyclones, the Tier III Jr. A team visited the AJHL Finals for two straight years, winning the league championship during the 2007-08 season, while also making consecutive semi-final trips to the USAH Tier III Jr. A National Championships. Dalessio also guided the Cyclones Jr. B team to back-to-back MJHL North division championships and final four appearances. During the 2007-08 season the Cyclones Jr. B team was runner-up in both the MJHL Keegan Cup and USAH Tier III Jr. B National Championships.

In 2008-2009 Tony joined the Walpole Express organization as General Manager of the Jr. A and B teams, also serving as Head Coach. Under Dalessio the Jr. B team won the regular season making them the 2009 Terry Scott Cup Champions. The following season Tony, as assistant coach of the Jr A program, was instrumental in assembling what would end up being the 2010 AJHL Presidents Cup Championship roster. In addition to the League Championship the 2010 AJHL North Division Champions had a successful showing at their first ever USAH Tier III Jr. A Nationals appearance going 2-1 in the tournament. Dalessio followed up the initial Express Championship with two additional back to back Championships and another USA Tier III Jr. A Nationals appearance.

Prior to his time with the Cyclones and Express organizations, Dalessio was the head/assistant coach of their U18 AAA team. Before that he served as assistant coach at Austin Prep High School. Earlier, he served as head coach of the Eastern Mass Panthers U16 AAA.

Dalessio played his college hockey at UMass/Boston, an ECAC East DIII contender. Prior to that he spent a season playing Canadian Tier II Jr. A hockey for the Weyburn Red Wings in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

Dalessio resides in Burlington, Mass with his wife Kristine and their two boys Anthony, 5, and Paul, 3.
