Here
at our women’s hockey camp we are providing much
more than just an on-ice experience. We are located
25 minutes south of Boston, and we pride ourselves on
developing skills to becoming a better hockey player.
We are providing 8 hours of ice in a three day period
starting on Friday night. Because some players are at
different levels there will be an evaluation form to
fill out before camp, focusing on skill level and if
you wanted to be with your friends or teammates. This
camp will provide a video session where we evaluate
players’ skating and go over it in detail. We
will have some off-ice training, such as plyo-metrics
and dry land training that focuses on skating stride
and agility. This camp will run Friday to Sunday. Two
dinners, breakfast and one lunch meal will be provided
through out the weekend.
Accommodations
will be held in the Iorio Arena Dorms:
Located
in front of the arena on Route 1 in Walpole, the facility
boasts a common area with plush leather couches, a
wide screen television with satellite TV used for
off-ice instruction. It also has a Ping-Pong table,
Bubble-Hockey machine and a basketball hoop.
Other amenities include
a fully stocked kitchen complete with stove, laundry
room, full-size refrigerator, toaster, blender and
microwave oven. Spread out across the entire third
floor of the facility are spacious dorm rooms, each
equipped with its own phone and answering machine
as well a private bathroom. >> CLICK
