SKATERS
Our Weekly Learn To Play session is designed for our beginning hockey
players. Players will be broken up into groups and put into stations
according to their age and ability.
The student to teacher ratio is 5:1. Instructors will demonstrate
drills for specific skill development and coach each player to insure
the drills are done correctly. Our dynamic skill sessions cover
every aspect of hockey so players learning the sport develop the
critical skills to play up to their potential.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT
In an environment of respect and positive reinforcement, players
will learn the basic and most critical skills needed to enjoy the
game of hockey. Instructors will demonstrate each drill and provide
clear instruction to insure the drills are executed correctly. At
the youngest ages, repitition is key to successful skill development
so we take time to break down each element, including stopping,
crossovers, shooting, stick handling and power turns. By mixing
skill stations with games, we are able to effectively keep the players'
interest while also allowing them to have fun while learning.
