(TEAM)
Today, the Junior & Senior Chowder Cup Tournaments are the premier
national tournament for young men born in 1994-1995 and/or 1990-1993.
Each year, hundreds of players aim to impress scouts and coaches
as they vie for the championship. At RB Hockey, we believe the best
way to showcase individual players is through team excellence.
Using dynamic practices, off-ice team building exercises, community
meals and dorm living, players will form lasting friendships as
together we will build a unified TEAM to compete with teams from
across the country in a quest to capture the cup! Games will be
played at several Massachusetts rinks, including Iorio Arena and
Foxboro Sports Center.
Located
in front of the arena on Route 1 in Walpole, the facility boasts a
common area with plush leather couches, a giant LCD flat screen with
satellite TV used for off-ice instruction. It also has a Ping-Pong
table, Air Hockey table, Xbox, multiple Wii's, Guitar Hero and
a basketball hoop.
Other amenities include a kitchen complete
with a stove, full-size refrigerator, toaster, blender and microwave
oven. Spread out across the entire third floor of the facility are
spacious dorm rooms, each equipped with central air conditioning
as well as a private bathroom. A laundry room is also available.
As a facility built to host and train world-class athletes, the
building is highly secure. Not only is a key or key code required
for entry, but a key card is needed to operate the elevator that
accesses the third floor sleeping rooms. To further ensure the safety
of our players, 24-hour closed-circuit surveillance cameras monitor
every entrance and exit of the facility.
